Certification Pass Rate
The percentage of learners who pass a certification assessment relative to the total number who attempted it.
Certification Pass Rate measures how many learners successfully meet the passing threshold of a certification out of all who attempted the assessment. It is typically calculated by dividing the number of passing learners by the number of attempts or candidates over a given period.
This metric helps L&D and HR leaders evaluate both learner readiness and the alignment between training content and certification requirements. Very high or very low rates can indicate that an assessment is poorly calibrated or that preparation needs adjustment.
